Cousins!

On December 5th Sawyer Thomas Kuhne was born, making Jennings a cousin for the first time. He is a super cute (super hairy) little man. Jennings had lots of fun kissing and holding the baby! The whole gang! Mommy Nyla, Daddy Jake, Baby Sawyer, Uncle Matt, Aunt Robin and Jennings

Baby Hayden

A couple of weeks ago our good friends Chris and Kirsten had a new baby boy, Hayden. He and Jennings are becoming fast friends. They love watching footfall together and playing on the floor!

Happy Turkey Day

We had lots of fun at Thanksgiving. We went home and had early Thanksgiving with the Galvan's and late Thanksgiving with the Kuhne's. Jennings loved eating all day long and stayed up late all weekend, which made for a long week of recovery!

Swimming Lessons

We finished up our second round of swimming lessons on Monday. Jennings has so much fun in the water. You would think he is a fish the way he tools around in the pool. He was learning how to kick, blow bubbles, and scoop his arms. He has mastered kicking and blowing bubbles, we just need to work on the scooping part!
Jennings loves playing on the "Magic Carpet". He threw a fit when he had to get off and share with the other kids.

We did lessons with Anne and Lucas again. The boys have lots of fun playing in the pool. After lessons we usually take the boys out to lunch somewhere where they can play more.

Happy Halloween

Jennings was a monster this year for Halloween. We went out for a while with Keegan and Marin, the neighbors and then went home to hand out candy. Jennings had so much fun. He can't say trick-or-treat yet, but he can growl like a monster. He got tons of candy and a special present from Chris and Kirsten a new Choo-Choo. How lucky is he!

The little monster who can't wait to get going! His favorite part of his costume was the monster shoes. He wore them all week. We even had to go to the store with his monster shoes on.

First Jack-o-Lantern

Jennings carved his first pumpkin this year. He helped mom scoop out the guts and he loved it!

Dad helped him do the carving. He did a very good job!

Pumpkin Patch

We went to a pumpkin patch a couple of weeks ago with Grandma and Grandpa Kuhne. Chris and Kirsten came along too. We had lots of fun.

Jennings loved playing with allof the animals. They had a petting zoon and horse rides. He ran around making animal noises.

Visiting Connor

Jennings and I took a trip to Bismarck to see my college roommate Heather and her son Connor. Danielle and Carter came with. It was lots of fun watching the boys play together and being able to get all three of us together again. We went to the mall, a pumpkin patch and played at home. They had lots of fun running around naked and dancing.

Husband and Wife

Matt and I went out of town over night a couple of weeks ago and went to Alexandria, MN. We had a great time. We went to the Carlos Creek Winery and did a wine tasting and went on a tour of the winery. It was so much fun! We drank wine and talked and enjoyed each other. Instead of mom and dad we got to be husband and wife again. It was great!

Our favorite wines. I loved the peach and Matt like the "Hot Dish" red.

This was us wine tasting. it was really fun. They gave us a list of every wine they make and you got to taste 5 of them. So, being the smart people we are, we each got different wines and were able to taste 10 different kinds.

This was the barrel room where the wine sits and ferments for anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. It was underground where it is cool and must. Perfect conditions for wine making.

Here we are teeing off at the Miltona Golf Club. Nice form!

We had lots of fun golfing. We went on Friday and on Saturday. We even splurged and got a cart, which was awesome!

My mom came up and stayed with Jennings over night. They had some good quality bonding time. This is what happens when you spend time alone with Grandma Galvan. You do whatever you want and dump your breakfast on your head. It took a a solid 2 days to get him back into his routine. We also had to re-learn the rules! Every time he got in trouble he started looking for Grandma to save him.

ND Horse Park

We took Jennings to the North Dakota Horse Park for the first time to watch the horse races. It is such a fun place. You can bet on the horses or just watch and visit them in the stables. We figured he would have fun because he loves all animals. We went with our very close friends Chris and Kirsten and our neighbors Chad and Tara. We all had a great time. Matt loved that it was $1 beer and hot dog night and even though nobody won, it was a blast!

Jennings loved the entire thing. He got excited when the horses were racing and he loved the trucks that repaved the track before the next race. He is also a lot like his mom and dad and enjoys a good people watching environment.
But I think his favorite part was the hot dogs. He ate almost 2 entire hot dogs, bun and all. I don't know where he puts it!

Unfortunately, mommy didn't pay close enough attention to Jennings when he was with Uncle Chris. He decided it would be a good idea to let Jennings play with his beer cans!
