Aunt Stephanie's Birthday

This weekend was Stephanie's 19th Birthday. Great Grandma and Great Grandpa Undlin and Grandma and Grandpa Galvan came to visit. Staphanie got a poster of her celebrity crush Shane West and she flipped out. She pretty much thinks he is the hottest man alive which nobody understands.

Chocolate Icecream

Jennings had his first chocolate icecream cone at daycare this week. It has been super hot and muggy up here, so they gave the little ones a treat to help them cool down after playing outside. He loved it. He was covered in icecream when I picked him up. When I asked him if he likes icecream he said "MMMM".

North to Alaska

A couple of weeks ago we met Matt's cousin Kurt and his wife Janelle, along with their boys, Aiden and Jasper, in Alexandria. Kurt and Janelle live in Alaska, so it is pretty rare that we get to spend much time with them. We were at Matt's Aunt and Uncle's cabin that they had rented and spent the day at the lake. Unfortunately it was too cold to do much outside, so we spent most of the time chatting inside. Matt's Aunt Carolyn has always said that Matt reminds her of Kurt. It isn't hard to see why in this picture!

Matt's other cousin Kathy and her kids were there too, so Jennings had plenty of people to watch and follow. Kathy's daughter Sara is in love with Jennings. Whenever we are around she is playing with Jennings which is nice for us because we get a break. And i have to say, she is a great babysitter!
